Paint & Play is all about getting creative, messy and free. Based in Echuca, I host art workshops, parties and events for all ages and abilities, focusing on play, experimentation and self-expression through painting, mixed media and sculpture.

Hi, I’m Elizabeth, the artist behind Paint & Play.
I’m a mixed media artist who loves working with vibrant colours, texture and a playful, experimental approach to creating. For me, art has always been more about the process than the final outcome.
Paint & Play was created from a deeply personal place. After the loss of my daughter Everleigh in 2023, I turned to art as a way to navigate grief. What started as a way to cope slowly became a passion, and then a purpose.
Now, I share that with others by creating a space where people of all ages and abilities can explore art in a way that feels safe, relaxed and freeing.My workshops and art club are all about:
- Self-expression over perfection
- Creative freedom and play
- Trying new things without fear
- Connecting through creativity

Paint & Play at the BIG Freeze

At Rich River Golf Club, MoamaPaint & Play is bringing a complete interactive creative experience to the BIG Freeze Echuca Moama. With sensory and messy play stations, process art activities and hands-on creative spaces, this is a place for children of all ages to get messy, play, explore and experiment in a fun and welcoming environment.Families can enjoy open-ended creative play designed to inspire imagination, curiosity and connection through art and sensory exploration.The BIG Freeze Echuca Moama is a family-friendly community fundraiser supporting FightMND and raising awareness for motor neurone disease (MND). The day will feature the iconic ice slide challenge, golf activities, mini golf, kids activities, the Dash for Cash and more, all while bringing the community together for an important cause.

Girls' Night Out – Friday 26 June | 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Gather your girlfriends and join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity, connection, and laughter at Rich River Golf Club!
Whether you're coming with friends or flying solo and looking to meet new people, this 18+ event is the perfect excuse to enjoy a night out. Relax, create, chat, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to make new memories.
A fully stocked bar will be available in the room, and courtesy bus services are available through Rich River Golf Club for a safe and convenient trip home.
Tickets are on sale now, with optional savoury or sweet grazing box add-ons available when booking.

Paint & Play Messy Play Sessions are designed for children aged 6 months to 6 years.Paint & Play provides a space where little ones are encouraged to explore, experiment, create and get wonderfully messy. Filled with sensory play, process art, water play, slime, cloud dough, painting, loose parts and ever-changing creative invitations, our sessions are completely child-led and open-ended, allowing children to learn through play in the way they do best.Messy play supports creativity, confidence, fine motor development, sensory regulation, problem solving and social connection, but most importantly... it’s fun. At Paint & Play, we believe children learn best when they are free to play, explore and follow their curiosity. Our studio is a welcoming indoor space where mess is encouraged, imagination runs wild and no two sessions are ever the same.A fresh and exciting experience for Echuca families, Paint & Play brings something truly different to the community. A place where children can create freely, parents can relax, and learning happens naturally through hands-on play.

Sweet Treats Art Camp | Ages 7+Join us for three creative and colourful days at our Sweet Treats Art Camp! Designed for children aged 7 and over, this exciting camp is packed with hands-on art experiences inspired by all things sweet.Over three days, young artists will explore a variety of techniques and materials, including clay, papier-mâché, painting, drawing, mixed media, and collaborative art projects. They'll develop new skills, build confidence in their creativity, and create a collection of unique artworks to take home.Each day is filled with opportunities to imagine, experiment, create, and connect with other young artists in a fun and supportive environment.3-Day Art Camp

The Paint & Play Art Café is a relaxed, cozy and welcoming space designed for adults to slow down, get creative and enjoy art in a completely pressure-free way.Instead of ordering from a food menu, you’ll choose from an ever-changing art menu filled with creative experiences. From canvas painting, pot painting and air dry clay, to watercolours, acrylics, charcoal, drawing activities, colour-by-number style projects and more. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who already loves creating, the Art Café is all about accessible creativity, experimentation and having fun.
Come solo for a peaceful creative escape, bring your friends for a Girls Night Out, enjoy a unique date night, or start your evening with a fun pre-drinks creative session before heading out. With optional pre-ordered grazing boxes and platters available and BYO drinks, the Art Café offers a fresh and exciting experience unlike anything else in Echuca. A place to unwind, connect, create and make a night of it.The Paint & Play Art Café will run Friday nights from 5pm–8pm at the Paint & Play Studio. Bookings are preferred.
